At Sir John Lillie Primary School, our Design and Technology curriculum empowers children to become creative problem-solvers, critical thinkers and innovative designers. Through engaging, hands-on projects, students design, create, and evaluate products for a variety of purposes, connecting their learning to the world around them.

Our curriculum is carefully structured to build on previous skills, allowing children to revisit and refine their knowledge while progressively developing their abilities in areas such as construction, mechanics, electronics, textiles, and food technology. Our children are encouraged to explore their ideas, test their designs, and embrace both successes and challenges as opportunities for growth.
